This piece explores the concept of the Uncanny, in particular the "Uncanny Valley" as defined by robotics professor Masahiro Mori in relation to humans and robotics that the more life-like they are the more eerie, disturbing. This draws on the dissonance between what our senses tells us and what our brain knows. In this piece the the growing unease shown in the graph is expressed by the composition.
